Discover our reading challenge
A few days ago, April 23rd, it was World Book and Copyright Day. On this day reading, writing, translating, publishing, and copyrighting is promoted to encourage the sharing of books. I stumbled upon a pin titled “100 Books Bucket list”. We took the challenge to choose a book, read and share it with each other.
My son, Liam, chose “The Order of the Phoenix” by J.K. Rowling. A fantastic choice for a ten year old. The adventures of Harry Potter as he enters his fifth year at Hogwarts is indeed a page turner. My partner, James “A Darker Shade of Magic” by V.E. Schwab is an adult fantasy series filled with daring exploits and thrilling power. Myself, I chose, “The Chronicles of Narnia” by C.S. Lewis. A story of magic and mysticism, mythical beasts and talking animals in the Narnian world.
Our books have been ordered and should arrive imminently. We will share our thoughts about our choices as we progress through our riveting stories.
